The Fair at New Boston

Step back in time at the Fair at New Boston, a living history event held Labor Day weekend, September 5-6, at George Rogers Clark Park in Springfield. This immersive reenactment transports visitors to the Ohio frontier between 1790 and 1810, with period-correct costumes, artisan demonstrations, military drills, and more than 50 historically interpreted vendor booths.
Attendees can watch blacksmiths at work, see open-fire cooking demonstrations, listen to fife and drum performances, and interact with costumed interpreters portraying frontier settlers, traders, and soldiers. Set on the museum's sweeping lawn overlooking the Great Miami River, this festival brings together more than 50 craft beers, live music on two stages, a diverse food court, artisan vendors, and family activities.
The 2026 edition features headlining acts on the main stage and a second stage with continuous local and regional performers throughout the weekend. Centerville Fall Fest

The Chocolate Walk kicks off on Friday evening at 5:30 PM, drawing visitors to downtown Sidney's historic storefronts for an evening of sweet treats and warm hospitality. Participating businesses offer signature chocolate samples, and attendees stroll from shop to shop along Court Street enjoying the fall decorations and small-town charm.
The Fall Festival continues Saturday, October 10 starting at 3:00 PM, with live music, food vendors, craft booths, and activities for all ages. The festival takes over the Court Square area around the Shelby County Courthouse, a handsome public square that serves as the heart of downtown Sidney.
