What's Happening Around Lebanon & Across Ohio: Late October Through Mid-November 2026

A warm late-October evening on a historic Ohio main street, preserved 19th-century brick storefronts and antique shops under maples turning orange and gold, early holiday string lights glowing between lampposts, pumpkins and mums along the sidewalk, and families strolling in the golden light
PLATE 01, FROM FALL FESTIVALS TO HOLIDAY OPENERS ACROSS OHIO

Late October through mid-November is the sweet spot of the Ohio calendar, the bridge between fall festival season and the first holiday lights. The Renaissance Festival near Waynesville is in its final two weekends, Halloween still has one big weekend left, and by the second Friday of November the Christmas markets start to open from Cincinnati to Canton. If you have been waiting for the perfect reason to get out and explore, the next month is full of them.

This month we are putting a spotlight on Lebanon, the county seat of Warren County and one of the fastest-growing communities in the Cincinnati metro. Sitting almost exactly halfway between Cincinnati and Dayton on I-71, Lebanon pairs a beautifully preserved 19th-century main street with new neighborhoods going up all around it. It is also the home of one of the region's biggest holiday markets, and it sits just minutes from the Renaissance Festival's castle village, so it makes a natural home base for a month of weekend trips.

At Glasshouse Realty, our agents live and work across Greater Dayton, Greater Cincinnati, and the Cleveland market. We know the streets where these events happen, the organizers behind them, and the local businesses that make each town distinct. Here are fourteen festivals and happenings worth putting on your calendar between now and the middle of November.

Spotlight: Lebanon, Ohio

Lebanon sits almost exactly halfway between Cincinnati and Dayton, and it sits at the center of one of Ohio's best growth stories. Warren County is the fastest-growing county in the Cincinnati metro, accounting for roughly a quarter of Greater Cincinnati's population increase since 2020, and Lebanon's own population is up about 6 percent since the 2020 census. That momentum shows up in the housing market: the median home sale price in Lebanon sat around $340,000 in early 2026, up about 15.5 percent year over year, with new construction adding fresh inventory alongside established neighborhoods.

What makes Lebanon feel different is the balance. One side of the square is the Golden Lamb, Ohio's oldest continuously operating inn, welcoming guests since 1803. The other side is a main street lined with antiques shops, boutiques, and restaurants that could pass for a movie set, while Lebanon City Schools and brand-new subdivisions serve the families moving in every month. It is a place where history and growth share the same address, and that is exactly the kind of community we mean when we say the difference is clear.

The events calendar reflects it, too. The Christmas Market at the Warren County Fairgrounds takes over Lebanon's fairgrounds November 13-15, and the Ohio Renaissance Festival's castle village in Waynesville is only about ten minutes up the road. Whether you come for a medieval joust, a holiday market, or a stroll down the historic square, Lebanon makes an excellent home base for the season.

Ohio Renaissance Festival

Waynesville & Harveysburg · Final two weekends through November 1, 2026

One of the largest Renaissance festivals in the Midwest is in its final stretch. The Ohio Renaissance Festival runs every weekend through Sunday, November 1 at its permanent sixteenth-century-style village along East State Route 73 in Warren County, with live jousting, costumed performers, working artisan shops, and food that feels straight out of a medieval feast. Gates open at 10:30 AM each day; October adult tickets run $39 plus fees, and children 5 to 12 are $10 plus fees through the October 24-25 weekend.

Each of the last two weekends has its own theme. Myths & Monsters (October 24-25) brings legendary creatures to the village, and the season closer, Heroes & Villains (October 31 through November 1), is the one where kids 12 and under get in free, with military and first responders earning a $3 discount at the ticket booth. Parking is included, and some Saturdays sell out, so grab tickets ahead of time.

This one is especially close to our hearts. Glasshouse Realty keeps a billboard presence along the roads around the festival grounds, so as you make your way to the gates you may just spot our sign. It is a small reflection of how connected our team is to this corner of Warren County. For jousting fans, costume lovers, and anyone with a taste for turkey legs, these are your last two chances this season, and we hope to see you there.

Why We Share These Events

At Glasshouse Realty, we do not just serve these communities from a distance. Our offices and teams are across Greater Dayton, Southwest Ohio, and the Cleveland market, and our agents live in the same neighborhoods where these events are happening. When we share what is happening around town, we are sharing the places we will be spending our weekends, too.

That local connection is at the heart of everything we do. It is the difference between knowing a market and knowing a community, and it is what we mean when we say the difference is clear. From the castle village in Warren County where you might spot our billboard, to fast-growing Lebanon's holiday market and historic square, to the first lights glowing in Hamilton, Canton, and Akron, these gatherings are a wonderful way to feel the character of each town firsthand.

So mark your calendar: catch one of the final Renaissance Festival weekends in Waynesville, celebrate four decades of Hauntfest in Dayton, take the kids to trunk-or-treat in Xenia, kick off the holidays at the Dayton Holiday Festival and in Troy, shop the Christmas Market in Lebanon, then welcome the season at the Germania Society, Pyramid Hill, WinterFest, and the holiday markets of Northeast Ohio. These weeks across Ohio are something special, and these fourteen events are only the beginning.

And if you are curious what it is like to live in any of these communities, the neighborhoods, the schools, the daily rhythm, we would love to talk. That is what we are here for. Reach out anytime, and we will connect you with someone who knows your community from the inside out.

The Bottom Line

From the final weekends of the Ohio Renaissance Festival in Warren County to Lebanon's Christmas Market and historic square, from Hauntfest on Fifth in Dayton and trunk-or-treat in Xenia to the Dayton Holiday Festival, the Germania Society Christkindlmarkt, Pyramid Hill Lights, and the holiday markets of Canton and Akron, the coming weeks are full of reasons to explore the communities that make up the Glasshouse Realty network. Each event tells you something about the town that hosts it, and together they paint a picture of a region where community still matters.
